Invensys Strengthens Presence in Louisiana; expanded Baton Rouge facility meets needs of Gulf Coast clients

 MARCH 11, 2009/PLANO, TEXAS – Invensys Operations Management, a global technology, software and consulting firm, today announced the expansion of its Baton Rouge, La., facility, strengthening its commitment to clients in Louisiana and the Gulf Coast region. Featuring a modernized staging area, additional meeting rooms and a new training center, the 14,000-square-foot office, located at 11550 Newcastle Drive in Baton Rouge, will support local and global project deployment. Louisiana and the Gulf Coast are fundamental to the success of the North American petrochemical industry and manufactures one-quarter of the country’s petrochemicals, including basic chemicals, plastics and fertilizers. The new Baton Rouge office will provide an important base to assist with petrochemical and oil and gas projects, responsible for supporting all Invensys operations on the Gulf Coast and serving as the primary point of contact for Invensys clients there. The office is also the focal point for all maintenance and service work to support the considerable quantity of Invensys-supplied products and solutions already installed in the area.
