CRANSTON, RHODE ISLAND, May 17, 2010 – Federal Electronics, Inc. has been selected as a recipient of the 2009 Supplier Excellence 4 Star Award by Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS).
A supplier to Raytheon IDS for the past 8 years, Federal Electronics was recognized for on-time delivery metrics, sustained performance on quality and commitment to continuous process improvement.
Federal Electronics Vice President Ed Evangelista and Account Manager Chris Heywood were presented with the award in a ceremony at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass.

The Raytheon Supplier Excellence Award follows the recent news of Federal Electronics selection as a supplier of assemblies for the Trident submarine based nuclear missile guidance system.
