New Management Brief Names 2010 B2B Marketing Trends

Sharon, Massachusetts, March 8, 2010 — Tiziani Whitmyre, Inc. has released a new management brief that identifies the five key trends that will shape marketing tactics in the year ahead. Entitled “B2B Trends 2010: Marketing Strategies for a Recovering Economy,” the brief explores the drivers that will enable marketers to reignite growth and profitability.

The management brief is available to download from www.tizinc.com/b2btrends2010.

“The past year’s adversities have fostered a heightened resourcefulness, driving us to discover new marketing tactics that are more effective, lower cost, and highly measurable,” said Rick Whitmyre, Tiziani Whitmyre, Inc. president and author of the brief. “As we support clients trying to do more with less, interesting trends are emerging that promise exciting new opportunities for success.”

The brief discusses five trends that will influence B2B marketing strategies in 2010:
1. We will embrace inbound as well as outbound marketing
2. Social media will drive real value for B2B businesses
3. Lead nurturing programs will accelerate sales conversion
4. Lead scoring and marketing scorecards will enhance qualification and improve ROI measurement
5. Marketers will budget for results, not programs

“These trends promise exceptional opportunities for B2B companies that want to jump start growth and capture market share,” said Whitmyre. “Leveraging their power will build brands, capture leads, and convert them to sales at efficiencies deemed unimaginable only a few years ago.”

Tiziani Whitmyre Creative Director Fred Martins’ Fine Art Photography Receives Show, Exhibit Honors

Sharon, Mass. – September 19, 2007 – Fred Martins, Vice President, Creative Director at Tiziani Whitmyre (http://www.tizinc.com/), was awarded “Best of Show” honors for his entry of fine art photography at The Newburyport Art Association’s Fall Juried Show.

Another of Martin’s photographs, “Venice Light,” has been selected for exhibit in the upcoming 2007 New England Photographers Biennial Exhibition.

Best of Show

Martins’ photograph, titled “Flower Child,” received the Mary Alice Arakelian Memorial Award for Best of Show at The Newburyport Art Association’s 2007 Annual Members Fall Juried Show, Part 1. The photograph depicts a vendor at a craft fair.

Said show juror Paula Toganarell, “I chose this piece for the Best of Show piece, because of its intimate perspective and narrative nature. As the viewer, I am invited into this woman’s world. I became enthralled by the subject’s bold colors, her exotic tattoos and whimsical back drop. Immediately, I begin making meaning out of this very visual story.”

The Newburyport Art Association presented The 2007 Annual Members Fall Juried Show Part 1 from August 24 to September 16. There were 222 entries from 126 artists, 154 works were selected. For more information, visit www.newburyportart.org/Archive/fallshow07-1/fallshow07.html.

Selected for Exhibition

The New England Photographers Biennial Exhibition is held every two years, features photographic art from local New England photographers. The highly selective show, which chose 78 works from 639 pieces submitted by 148 artists, will be juried by Karen Hass, Curator of the Lane Collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, as well as Arlette Kayafas, Director of Kayafas Gallery, Boston.

The show runs Sept. 9 – Oct. 28, at the Danforth Museum of Art in Framingham, Mass. For more information, visit http://www.danforthmuseum.org/.

Photographer, Creative Director

Free White Paper Offers Advice for Marketing Executives

SHARON, MASS. – September 5, 2007 – A free, informative white paper titled “The Five Deadly Sins of B2B Marketing” is available to help marketing executives avoid money-wasting, product-killing, and even career-ending mistakes that others have made in the past.

The Five Deadly Sins of B2B Marketing,” outlines common mistakes that occur in major “business to business” (B2B) marketing disciplines, including Internet marketing, advertising, public relations, graphic design, and corporate and product branding strategies.

“We offer this white paper to generate new ideas about achieving marketing success,” said Rick Whitmyre, president, Tiziani Whitmyre Inc. “It’s designed to help companies achieve maximum impact and results from their precious marketing dollars.”

The five deadly sins are described as:

  1. Forgetting the Audience – Don’t assume. Know the decisions makers and take the time to target the customers according to the buying process.
  2. Thinking Tactics First, Not Strategy – Use your strategic business plan as the foundation to deliver maximum communication impact.
  3. Overestimating the Power of Creative – It’s the message as well as the medium. Positioning is critical to winning creative.
  4. Underestimating the Power of Your Website – Utilizing the Web as the front end of your business will generate scores of qualified leads and sales.
  5. Misunderstanding Public Relations – Papering the walls of editors’ offices with news releases won’t get results. Frequent editorial contact and relationship building will produce dramatically more effective news coverage.
